The Winter Series is coming to a close. This weekend sees the last two events:

On Saturday there is the first Silkstone Shuffle of 2012. The 3km race starts at 9.45am and registration is from 9.00am. This is open to all juniors.
Start & finish at Silkstone Sports Pavilion (Behind Dearnside Garage). From Wakefield, down the M1 to junction 37 and follow the A628 towards Manchester. Once you have left the edge of Dodworth you will go past some woods, drop the down a hill to a junction. On the left is a BP? garage with a Co-op supermarket. The car park for the shuffle is behind the garage, the CP entrance is to the right of the building.

Sunday April 1st is the hill climb.

Park and Sign-in/Register at Huntsman Inn 136 Manchester Road S36 9QW
REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 10.51
Start
Don't start 'til you're told to - your time starts then; it's up to you if you start straight away or hang around talking Don't expect start times to be at regular intervals - aim is about 30" apart (never works out like that) don't let your fancy dress get caught in your wheels
Finish
If you can breathe, shout your number out
Move away from the finish line - and get your bike off the road
Do not descend until every competitor has finished - for safety, there will be a (slow!!) mass ride back to the pub. Anyone overtaking the leader (Shaun) will be disqualified and have their pie & peas impounded
